About Californian Rabbits
The Californian Rabbit is considered to be one of the large meat rabbits. The Californian Rabbit originated from a cross between New Zealand Whites, Chinchilla and Himalayan Rabbits. Californian Rabbits usuallly weigh between 9 and 12 pounds. They are well known for their white body, black nose, ears, tail and feet. Californian Rabbits are one of the most common types of rabbits raised in the United States. Californian Rabbits are generally very nice animals and make excellent pets.
