Are you looking to buy californian meat pen rabbits in texas? We are TX Meat Pen Breeders that sell rabbits for show, meat and pets. We will try to breed the rabbits for you or help you find rabbits for your meat pen shows. We can sell you whole litters that we breed for a reasonable price per rabbit. If you are interested please let us know at least two months in advance so that we can breed our does. (If you missed that deadline still fill out the form below because we may have does already bred) We cannot promise that we will be able to breed them for you but you can sign-up below and we will let you know within one or two weeks. New Meat Pen Information:  We do not usually specifically breed for Rabbit Meat Pen Shows however many times our breed dates and show dates match up. Therefore for the most part we cannot "breed for shows" however we do breed all of our does three times a year. If we have bunnies of the right age available we will let you know.

Our breed dates are usually: April or May, Around the beginning of October, and our main breeding is usually between December 1st and February 1st. If a doe does not have bunnies after being bred on our breed dates we usually will rebreed her which provides an opportunity for us to provide bunnies to shows that do not coincide with our main dates.
Shows that we frequently provided bunnies for are as follows: Bandera County, Beaumont County, Burnet County, Nueces County, Real County, Travis County, Trinity County -Texas

Meat Pen Rabbit Information

  • It takes a doe about 31 days to have bunnies after being bred.
  • A baby rabbit can be weened after around 4 weeks.
  • The normal show weight for a meat pen rabbit is between 3 and 5 pounds
  • You usually show a trio of rabbits.
  • The sex of your meat pen rabbits usually does not matter.
